Queen Camel Medical Centre is a dispensing practice with a list size of over 6100 which dispenses to over 80% of patients. We are looking to recruit a new Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join the team. We are proud of the good quality patient care that the whole practice team provides. The GP National Survey shows that 99% of patients would recommend our surgery to someone new to the area.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and demonstrate clinical expertise in a fast-paced medical setting. IPC knowledge desirable and opportunity for additional hours to cover this and lead nurse duties available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct comprehensive physical examinations on patients
– Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
– Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses
– Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
– Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
– Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Requirements:
– Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing
– Current Nurse Practitioner license
– Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice
– Medication administration proficiency
– Strong anatomy knowledge
– Excellent patient care skills
