Accessing interpreting and translation services
All NHS organisations have a duty to provide interpreting and translations services to all patients. This includes providing BSL/English interpreting. Information on requesting interpreters and translations is available on TeamNet.
Training workshops
Word 360 who provide translation and interpreting services to Somerset’s GP practices, Somerset NHS Foundation Trust and Somerset County Council have offered three workshops for people to attend. These are available to all staff and aim to increase understanding of the services they provide. All of the workshops will be at 12 midday and last approximately 45 minutes.
