Ardens for EMIS Web – Webinar Recordings and Information

Ardens EMIS GP Contract 2020/21 and Network DES Resources

Please click here  for more information about the changes to the 2020 GP Contract and the new Network DES, including a summary of the Ardens resources we have made available to help practices deliver this.

There is a pre-recorded 20-minute webinar that demonstrates this functionality available at www.ardens.live/2020 .

Please note that NHS England published guidance last week (since the above webinar was created) that indicates that some parts of QOF will be reduced this year. We are waiting for confirmation about what these reduced targets will be.

Ardens Introduction Webinar
If you are new to Ardens in your GP practice, are a new staff-member who would like to learn more, or do not feel your GP practice is using all of the resources available to you then please watch the 40-minute “Ardens Introduction” webinar. This is available at www.ardens.live/webinar . The first 7 minutes talk about QOF Data Validation Reports and you may wish to skip this (remember that all practices in Somerset receive free annual QOF Data Validation Reports).

Ardens Diary Recall System

The Ardens Diary Recall System allows practice staff to easily manage diary recalls for blood tests, hospital tests, injections, procedures and long-term condition interim reviews. It includes a smart template to add and update recall dates, automatic alerts for practice staff to remind them of recalls due, and powerful searches to identify patients due a recall. Our 30-minute pre-recorded webinar offers an overview of its functionality and also guidance on how to implement the Diary Recall System in your GP practice. To view a recording of this webinar visit www.ardens.live/diaryrecallwebinar .
The following resources should be used after watching the webinar. The User Guide, in particular, offers clear instructions and screenshots explaining how to implement this system in your practice.

The Ardens Chronic Disease Recall System is a month-of-birth recall system. It will allow practices to streamline chronic disease management by using fewer appointments and by completing the review for multiple conditions at the same time. Ardens Searches and Reports

Ardens includes a large suite of searches and reports and we recommend spending some time exploring these so that you understand what is available for you to use. We ran a webinar on Thursday 16th July 2020 to introduce these searches and reports and demonstrate how you can use them to improve patient care, increase clinical safety, and maximise practice income. If you have missed this webinar the same link will launch a recording of the webinar.
